PT 1We get to know the guys, & hear their story of how the book came to be. We also hear about what these fellas collect, and spoiler, it's K98ks. We start hounding them about all things 98k from who made the best, to what they'd change, and find out where they think it ranks vs the contemporaries. We also jump into a little online purchasing, Mitchells Mausers, why Walther didn't make any full rifles, and are those late Kriegsmodells safe to shoot. Finally we talk refurbs and re-works, and do some Trivia. Jam packed Part 1!

We are back from the 52nd annual Kansas City Missouri Valley Arms Collectors Association Arms Show! We survived our first trip to KC and spoiler alert - the show was amazing. 
 
One of our buds we met up with EVAN joins us for a recap of the show!
 
We share everything we saw- the prices, the rare & cool stuff, the weird things and discuss all the awesome firearms we played with at the great show.
 
It was an eventful and full weekend, from the moment we stepped out of the airport into 100+ degree heat to when we were cooling down with a cold beer while handling an old Johnson. (Thanks to Danny from MILSURP WORLD for being a true pal)
 
Were the rumors of the best deals on the 'Friday setup day' true?
What Fudd lore made an appearance? What new Fudd lore was added?

Arms Shows ’Part 1’ (before KC show) | What to bring, when to arrive/leave, how to act, table strategies, haggle/countering tips, researching on the fly- plus our past show stories, deals, & weirdos.

We are going to the 52nd annual Kansas City Missouri Valley Arms Collectors Association Arms Show at the end of JULY! It will be the largest (by far) that Tom has gone to, as Kelly has been to TULSA (Lucky HIM!).
So this is the Part 1 - the 'BEFORE KC' show...
We are joined by our pal MATT who has been on both sides of the tables and offers a unique perspective!
Join us as we cover everything like what to bring (hint $$$), when to get there, how to attack the tables and when to get the best deals. We'll talk lots of haggle tips and experiences, budgets, how to package items for deals together, as well as our past show deals we made and those we sadly missed out on.
We also get into what items we are looking for in K.C.-- Will we get all we are seeking?
